With your mountain guide, fly high onto the “white ice” of New Zealand’s longest glacier, the mighty Tasman.
Land at 1,200 metres above sea level and spend up to 2 hours in the mountains. This is a guided interpretative trek on the “white ice”. The gently undulating terrain, making it perfect for all fitness levels, is an amazing landscape of fluted ice, runnels, moulins, and sinuous winding streamlets.
As your crampons bite into the ice, you will explore this magnificent landscape below the highest peaks of the Southern Alps (Aoraki and Mount Tasman). The snow-clad giants tower above vast ice-falls that bulldoze and grind down the mountain sides.
