Did you know the Mackenzie Region is home to the longest glacier in New Zealand, the Tasman Glacier? And did you know, you can experience it from the water, on New Zealand’s only glacial boat tour?

The glacier tours operate from the 1st of September (subject to conditions) until the end of June. The glacier lake freezes over during winter so the start of the season is subject to the lake thawing.
