Mt. Dobson Ski Area is famous for its relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Located 40 minutes drive from Fairlie, the 15km drive to the carpark from State Highway 8 is suitable for most camper vans, small cars, and buses.

Featuring a triple chair, T-bar, platter lift and learner rope tow, there’s terrain to suit all ages and abilities. With a huge learners area that captures all-day sun and wide-open uncrowded runs, it is the perfect day out for the whole family.

There is a great balance of groomed trails and off-piste for the more adventurous, with a large area of developed trails and miles of fresh untracked snow, perfect for any powder hound!

Mt. Dobson offers a full range of facilities including a cosy and warm cafe, equipment and clothing rentals and a Snow School with a team of international instructors who are passionate about skiing and boarding.

Be sure to check out the Silverstream Hotel when done skiing and enjoy a pint, hot meals, roaring logfire, and bands!
