Aoraki/Mt Cook and Lake Tekapo are a scenic 45 minute drive away, and there are three ski fields within an hour’s drive. Boating and rowing can be enjoyed on nearby Lake Ruataniwha and it’s a very short drive to the canals for world famous fishing. Other activities include heli-skiing, scenic flights, mountain biking, walking tracks and the Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail.
