Mackenzie Community Library

The Mackenzie Community Library is committed to providing residents of the wider Mackenzie Region as well as students of Mackenzie College with a comprehensive, efficient and accessible library service that will meet its clients’ recreational, educational, informational and personal needs.

As well as a wide selection of books & e-books, audio & e-audio, large print, newspapers and access to online databases, Mackenzie Community Library’s services include:

• Free Wi-Fi, public use computers & charging of devices
• Hosting of public casual ‘Lit Nits’ book group every two months
• Popular children’s summer reading programme
• Basic computer/device training & digital support (Stepping Up courses)
• Reference and local history enquiries
• Support with online applications (banking, passports, work visas, CVs, etc)
• Story time and craft sessions for preschoolers
• Books for babies’ scheme
• Inter-library loans
• Hireage of the library as a venue
• Photocopying, laminating, scanning to email
• Administrative support for local businesses – posters, gift cards, labels, brochures, etc
