Real Kiwi Horse Trekking

Take a ride on horseback through some of New Zealand’s pristine wilderness and natural landscapes. Experience breathtaking views of the mountains, lakes, glacial-fed rivers and the Canterbury plains on one of their bespoke trekking adventures.

They have carefully selected all their horses and ponies to ensure a suitable mount for all ages and riding abilities. Beginners are welcome from four years old and up.

They’re located approximately 2.5 hours drive south of Christchurch and 15km off the Inland Scenic Route (SH79) en route to Lake Tekapo, Aoraki/Mount Cook and Queenstown.

Accommodation is available on the station.

Turn off State Highway 79 onto Clayton Road. You will continue on Clayton Road and turn right onto Clayton Settlement Road, follow over the bridge and Arawima Station is the right hand turn at the T section.
