The cottage is located on a private 10-acre ecosanctuary 530m above sea level at the base of the Ben Ōhau mountain range. It is a peaceful, quiet country location with incredible views in all directions, yet is only 17km from the town of Twizel. It is 50 minutes to Aoraki/Mount Cook or Lake Tekapo, 2.5 hours from Queenstown and 4 hours from Christchurch.
